The Aluminum is the same alloy used in competition Rock Crawlers for control arms and steering parts.
 
Our Tie Rods come with 11/16th Jam nuts and the tie rod is notched for a 1-1/8th wrench for easy tightening of jam nuts.

(No channel locks scratching the round tie rod like some others!!)
