Full Circle Rock Racing takes 1st place (Pro-Modified) at W.E. Rock Crawling Series (May 5-7, 2006)

 

  
OUR PLANS FOR 2007
 
Full Circle Rock Racing will run the WE-ROCK East Coast series along with the Grand Nationals in Las Vegas and the World Finals in Australia.  WE-ROCK is the leading promoter in rock events in the U.S. as well as the world.
 
We will also run the XRRA East Coast events.   XRRA is the fastest growing market in our sport and our team plans to follow the flow of growth with this sport.  Not only does our team compete, but we are ambassadors for our sport and our sponsors.  Understanding the need to promote both of these is important to us and we plan on attending as many shows and events to display our goods.
                                
 
RESULTS FROM 2006
 
Our Stock Class rig not only won the UROC East series but took 3 out of 4 wins at the events.  The 2nd place finish was only a matter of 5 points from finishing in 1st place.
 
Our Modified Class rig competes in an extremely hard class with many veteran teams.  Our team exceeded our goals with an overall 3rd place series finish in the UROC East series, missing 1st place by only six points.   This is something we are going to feed off of for 2007.

This year we took a business approach to putting our team together.  Just like any
successful business you need key people at their positions.
 
Driving our Modified Class rig will again be Gavin Lewis who took a 3rd place series finish in 2006, with two 1st place finishes and a 2nd place finish.  This will be his third full season behind the wheel.  Keeping Gavin heading in the right direction and handling spotting duties will be Bruce Shallis.  Bruce has been a spotter for the past four years and has worked with Gavin as a team in the past.  With years of experience under their belt this team was put together to WIN!
 
Handling the driving duties for our Stock Class rig is Kurt Shramovich.  Last year Kurt was the spotter for this rig which won 1st place in the UROC East series.  Kurt has not just brought in any team member but a spotter who has been on both sides of the sport.  Chris Walton will be spotting for Kurt and his knowledge of the sport comes from four years as a judge and one year of competition experience.
 
Along with these four team members we have several crew, staff and family
members who travel with the team.  The preparation before, during and after the
events are what sets this team apart from the others.  These efforts showed true with
last year’s performance results.
